𒇔

The perceptive limit that characterizes every living being has, throughout history, continually been the subject of mythical narratives and events; omniscience, the unlimited acquisition of knowledge, and being able to foresee one's destiny are themes that have been addressed since the dawn of time.

The oldest literary work of which we have documentation, the Sumerian poem of Gilgamesh, examines these themes through the protagonist's encounter with the experience of death and his inability to accept it. Gilgamesh, together with Borges' short story The Library of Babel, are the two textual nodes interwoven through various rewriting processes for the dramaturgical construction of the piece.

Finiti is performative and dramaturgical research investigating the connections between the concepts of myth, metaverse, and the limit of knowledge through developing a narrative triggered by the relationship between a performer and his virtual image.

Using generative algorithms, machine listening techniques, and movement detection software, a sound and visual avatar is created with which the performer will dialogue throughout the narrative arc.
